I have lived with pets for all of my life — many amazing cats, an unexpected number of hamsters (thanks, kids), two gerbils, and two pairs of guinea pigs. Each of them has enriched my life, and given me great joy.
I also know what it’s like, after enjoying years of companionship, to experience the profound sadness of having to say goodbye to a pet, and then adjust to living without them.
I have photos of my current and past companions scattered around — in albums and boxes in the attic, on my computer, and here and there on my Facebook timeline.
After the death of two family pets, I created a gallery of photos. Having a place to “visit” them helped us to laugh, cry, and honor them during our grief. We can continue to revisit the site whenever we want to reminisce.
When you’re ready, I will guide you through the creation of a site. The results will be a very personalized celebration of your pet — for you to cherish, and easily share with others.
